ইসলাম ধর্ম অনুযায়ী যার প্রতিবেশি ক্ষুধার্ত অবস্থায় রাত্রি যাপন করে তার ঈমান নাই অর্থাৎ সে মুসলিম নয়। এখন নিশ্চয়-ই বোঝা যাচ্ছে যে নিজেকে মুসলিম হিসেবে দাবি করা কতো কঠিন ? কজন মুসলিম আছে সমাজে যিনি একবারের জন্য ও ভাবেন তার প্রতিবেশিরা ক্ষুধার্ত অবস্থায় রাত্রি যাপন করে কী না ? আর তথাকথিত মুসলিম দেশুগুলোর মধ্যে কয়টি নিজেদের 'মুসলিম দেশ' বলে দাবি করতে পারে যেখানে লক্ষ লক্ষ মুসলিম এবং অমুসলিম ক্ষুধার্ত অবস্থায় দিন পার করছে আর তারা ভোগ বিলাসিতায় জীবন কাটাচ্ছে ? বেশির ভাগ তথাকথিত মুসলিমদের একমাত্র উদ্দেশ্য হলো শুধু নামাজ, রোজার অনুষ্ঠানগুলো পালন করে সোয়াব কামাই করা এবং সোয়াব ক্রেডিট দিয়ে বেহেশতের ভোগ বিলাসের জন্য টিকেট ক্রয় করা। কিন্তু কথা হলো যার ঈমান-ই নেঙ- মানে যে মুসলিম-ই নয় সে কীভাবে বেহেশতে যাবে ?

Islam says a person has no faith whose neighbour sleeps at night starving. That means any Muslim whose neighbour passes sleepless night because of Hunger is not a Muslim at all. Now you can understand how difficult it is for somebody to call himself Muslim. Given this condition now how many Muslims can call themselves Muslims ? And How many Muslim countries can claim the title of Muslim Country when millions of muslims ( and non-muslims) in the world pass their days and nights in Hunger- when there are super Rich Muslim countries around ? You guess. Most of the Muslims now consider their Muslimhood as a way to go to heaven in next life and confine themselves to earn Sawab credit by ritualistic prayer and ritual fasting in Ramadan. They are more of Ritualists rather than true Muslims.
